December 10 – 12, 2010 – Restorative Yoga: Dhyana on Living and Dying

June 10 – 12, 2011 – Western Anatomy: The Conditions Necessary for Life and Action

July 8 – 10, 2011 – Asana: Adjustments, Alignment, Purpose and Sequence

July 30 – August 6, 2011 – Teaching Practicum Intensive

Daily Schedule:
Morning Sadhana (practice): 9:00am-10:30am
Classroom time (theory, discussion, practical application): 10:30am-1:00pm and 1:30pm-4:00pm
Afternoon Sadhana: 4:30-6:00pm

Students must attend 100% of all classroom modules to receive certification.

Completion of two assignments for each weekend (one based on what was studied that weekend and the other to prepare for the next weekend), readings, personal yoga practice, and a research project (either plan a workshop, build an 8-class plan for group or private, or develop a therapeutic plan to deal with a certain issue) are also requirements to receive certification.

YOU MAY ATTEND ONE OR SOME OF ANY OF THE WEEKEND MODULES. This option is available for serious practitioners and yoga teachers wanting to expand their knowledge on a particular topic, but who may not be interested in the whole program at this time. Our definition of a serious practitioner is not one with an advanced physical practice, rather one with a desire to take their practice to the next level and to integrate yogic practices into their life.

You do not need to commit to the entire program from the start, but if you do start with module 1 and decide to take the entire program, the modules you have attended will be eligible for the 500-hr yoga teaching certificate (if you have 200-hr yoga teaching certificate already).
