What to wear
Yoga asanas (postures) are done in bare feet. Wear comfortable clothing that allow for a full range of movement.
What to bring
We encourage you to bring or buy your own yoga mat. Some rental mats available for $1. Mat storage is available for members.
Please arrive to class on time. You will not be allowed to enter class more than 5 minutes late. No late entry for Yoga Nidra.
Especially during busy classes, please place the middle of the top of your mat behind one of the symbols on the floor.
Sniffles and Fevers
Please Stay Home!
Perfumes, colognes and scented products
As many people are sensitive, please do not wear scented products of any kind to class. Please extend this mindfulness to strong body odour and cigarette smoke.
Practice on an empty stomach
It is recommended that you do not eat at least three hours before practice. If a special condition prevents this, eat easily digested foods, e.g. fruit or yogurt, one hour before class.
Abandon the competitive mindset
Our aim in class is to open the heart and calm the mind.
Accept and love yourself for where you are at
Remember to enjoy the “in-between” parts of the journey. Each moment we are given is an opportunity to be here and enjoy now.
